Chill Casting with Brass
Usage
Brass consists of copper and zinc. These components are joined optimally in the cast and remain cast evenly also during solidification.
This material is ideal for usages e.g. controls and instruments, printing and packaging technique, electrical and medicinal engineering industries.
Strengths:
- Medium solidity
- Thin-walled, filigree work pieces are possible starting at 2.5 millimeters
- Corrosion and salt-water resistant
